Hi, the Poppy Appeal needs a volunteer or a group of volunteers to organise the Poppy Appeal in Hope.
The role involves ordering the poppies & wreaths for the village, making up the boxes & tins and delivering them to shops, schools, etc in the village, providing boxes to house to house collectors, getting the boxes back in, counting, recording & banking the collections.
There is a branch of The Royal British Legion in the village who are willing to help in any way they can but the individual members feel that they are too old to do the organising.
