Just been looking at the website and it looks lovely. After dh messed up our summer holiday I have been told we should go awah in half term and it's my choice. Would definitely fancy this but would we be bored? Children aged 6 and 4. While I don't mind a bit of walking im not up for an all day hike or anything too strenuous.

The Longshaw Estate do a lot of activities, Click here for Longshaw , Treak Cliff Cavern always does stone polishing and the like during half terms. click here for the cavernEyam Hall and craft centre does a lot of holiday time activities too Click hereThere's just loads of stuff.

Oh yes. Longshaw is National Trust, and they own a fair whack of it round here. Click HereIf I've done that link right, it should be a link for national trust places within 25 miles of the Hope Valley

No problem. Got some more half term events coming in now! Longshaw is running its Hallowe'en spooky trail again, and one of their Fabulous Fungi activity days. I'm updating the full list of events over the next few days Click here to view
